The unmistakable deep voice of the world’s favourite Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli will perform live for the first time in Sardinia on 12th august at the new forte arena in Santa Margherita di Pula (CA)
The only date when ANDREA BOCELLI will perform his concert live in Sardinia is Friday 12th August. It has been 18 years since his artistic debut in 1998, in Cagliari, at the renowned Opera House where he started his career playing Rudolfo in La Bohème. He now returns to Sardinia bringing his voice to the new FORTE ARENA in Santa Margherita di Pula (CA).
Arias, duets and songs from his repertoire: this the show that the world’s most beloved tenor will bring to the stage at the FORTE ARENA. Preceded by ‘Carisma’, the international classical guitar duo, the live direct performance by Maestro Carlo Bernini will be divided into two parts: the first will present a series of operatic hits, some accompanied by the talented soprano Maria Aleida; in the second part, which will also host the Tuscan singer Ilaria Della Bidia, Bocelli will enchant with a rich lineup of his most famous hits and excerpts from his last pop album, “Cinema” which was released the 23rd of last October. With 80 million records sold worldwide, Andrea Bocelli has emerged as the most beloved star across the planet for over 20 years. After he won the Sanremo Music Festival in 1994, the confirmation of his international success came in 1996 at which point his soaring career achieved accomplishments in the world of pop and Opera. “Cinema” is his fifteenth studio album and the performance at the Forte Arena is part of the eponymous tour. His latest masterpiece, released in 75 countries, pays homage to the most beautiful soundtracks composed by the likes of Ennio Morricone and Leonard Bernstein and include “Life is beautiful”, “The Godfather”, “Gladiator”, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Love Story”.
The FORTE ARENA, a new space in South Sardinia which boasts 5,000 seats, can be modulated according to the characteristics of individual events and concerts. It is located within an area that can be defined as an authentic natural amphitheater, where supporting infrastructure – stage and technical areas – were made by applying the most advanced principles of green development paying full respect to the surrounding environment.
